Congratulations to Jon Batiste, Mavis Staples and I’m With Her for their wins in the Americana and American Roots categories.
Batiste took home the award for Best Americana Album with Big Money. I’m With Her won Best American Roots Song for “Ancient Light,” while Staples was awarded for Best American Roots Performance and Best Americana Performance for “Beautiful Strangers” and “Godspeed,” respectively, at the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards.
Winners in the Country & American Roots Music Field also included: Billy Strings (Highway Prayers) for Best Bluegrass Album; Buddy Guy (Ain’t Done With The Blues) for Best Traditional Blues Album; Robert Randolph (Preacher Kids) for Best Contemporary Blues Album; I’m With Her (Wild And Clear And Blue) for Best Folk Album; Zach Top (Ain’t In It For My Health) for Best Traditional Country Album; Tyler Childers (“Bitin’ List”) for Best Country Song and Chris Stapleton (“Bad As I Used To Be [From F1® The Movie]”) for Best Country Solo Performance.
The 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards were broadcast live on Sunday, February 1, in Los Angeles, CA.
