The Sonic Planet plays a mix of folk, bluegrass, rock, blues and soul from a variety of artists and songwriters. We also try to support new and emerging artists. If you would like to submit music for airplay consideration there are a couple of things to keep in mind:

We amplify folk, bluegrass, rock, blues and soul . Your music might be the perfect fit for our playlist. We download mp3 or wav. You can submit your music to be played at info@thesonicplanet.com. We suggest you listen to see if you would like to be part of our format and represented on the Sonic Planet. We also recommend Drop Box for larger files.

Quality Counts

One of our main goals is to promote local artists, music and independent musicians. We want you to sound your best. We stream in the highest digital quality. We can download wav or mp3. You can email or share on Dropbox.

If we start playing your music, we will reach out and let you know. This way you can share with your friends and fans on social media that your work is being played on the Sonic Planet.

We will promote artists, releases, events and news on our social media platforms, newsletter and Web site. Please share, Friday is our dedicated music day to review submissions.
